Gertrude Parker Sailors, 86, of Casar Road, Lawndale passed away, Friday,
February 16, 2018 at Abernathy Laurels in Newton.

Born September 27, 1931 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
Haywood Parker and Zora Luckadoo Parker. Mrs. Sailors retired from
Shadowline and was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C.
Sailors; a grandson, Christopher Sailors; a sister, Christine Seagle and two
infant sisters.

Survivors include her son, Rev. Roger Sailors and wife, Pam of Terrell; two
grandchildren, Rodney Sailors and wife, Lauren of Lawndale and Tami
Mosteller and husband, Rev. Jamie Mosteller of Lawndale; seven great
grandchildren, Madeline Grace Sailors, William Brighton Sailors, Noah Lucas
Sailors, Cooper Austin Sailors, Macie Grace Sailors, Abbigayl Morgan
Mosteller, and Emma Karaline Mosteller; three brothers, Delbert Parker and
Bobby Gene Parker both of Casar and Claman Parker of Hickory; and four
sisters, Elsie Lou Willis and Margaret Willis both of Lawndale, Beth
McNeilly and Janette Hoyle both of Casar.

A funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Sunday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
Chapel with Revs. Jamie Mosteller, Roger Sailors and Terrell Crump
officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston
