Mr. Glenn Allen Brooks, 75, of Shelby, NC, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at his residence. He was born on December 15, 1951 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Robert and Estelle Thompson Brooks.

He was preceded in death by loving parents Robert and Estelle Brooks; sisters, Olivia B. Tate, Elizabeth B. Edwards, and Elease Brooks; and brother Willie Brooks.

He leaves two sons, Allan Brooks (Shawanna), and Shawn Brooks, wife, Joyce C. Brooks; three brothers, Dr. Larry J. Brooks, Johnny Brooks (Julie) and Joe Brooks; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all to cherish his memory.

Funeral services were held on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Ellis Chapel Baptist Church. Burial took place at the church cemetery.
