Grover Harold Hudson, 67, of Lawndale, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Atrium Health - Cleveland in Shelby, NC.

He was born on February 2, 1959, in Cleveland County and was a son of the late Hoover Ben Hudson and Vennie Lee Hudson. He was a retired roofer.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife of forty-four years Sharm Bonham Hudson; one sister, Mary Hudson Plummer.

He is survived by his daughter, Veronica Hudson of Lawndale; three grandchildren, Kelsey Carter and husband, Zach, Breanna Davis and Hunter Davis; three brothers, Ricky Hudson of Cherryville, Dowell Hudson of Casar and Wayne Hudson of Casar; and three sisters Linda Hudson of Casar; Peggy Hudson of Casar and Lillie Buff of Morganton.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Rose Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Jackie Price officiating.
