The  Greater  Shelby  Community  Theatre  production  of  Welcome  to  Mitford  continues  this  weekend  at Cleveland  Community  College.     Performances  will  be  Friday  and  Saturday  nights  at  7:30  and  Sunday  afternoon  at  2:30.       The  play  was written  by  former  WBTV  newscaster  Bob  Inman,  and  based  on  the  Mitford  novels  by  Jan  Karon.  
Tickets at the door are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students.    Presale discount tickets will be available at the following area outlets:  Arnold’s Jewelers, Badcock & More, Cleveland  C ounty Arts Council,  Maxwell B. Hamrick Insurance, and Neal Senior Center.
GSCT is offering a Mother’s Day package (reservations required) for the Sunday May 8 performance.    The package includes 2 tickets to the play, 2 lunches at NiFen Wine and Tapas, a corsage for mom, and an autographed book from author Robert Inman.  Packages are $50 for two people.  Each additional person added to the package is $25.  (The additional $25 covers meal and play admission only.)     Each lunch includes chicken crepes, 2 side dishes, dessert, and tea or coffee.    Wine may be purchased separately.    Call 704 480-8495 for reservations.  Leave a message and someone will get back to you to confirm your reservation.    Seating is limited.
