Guyann Hull Johnson
Vale - Mrs. Guyann Hull Johnson, passed away on, Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at her residence.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Lincoln County, NC on February 9, 1934, a daughter of the late Haywood Hull and Sallie Miller Hull. She was a self-employed cosmetologist and she worked in the cafeteria at North Brook School. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Hull's Grove Baptist Church, the Friendship Sunday School class and served on the bereavement committee.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Paul "Bud" Johnson and two sisters, Wanda Gantt and Janice Long.
Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Pam Johnson of Vale, and Keith and Lynn Johnson of Iron Station; daughter and son-in-law, DeAnna and Michael Warlick of Vale; two grandchildren, Amanda Coggins (Kevin) and Cole Warlick; and great grandson, Noah Coggins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 3:00 PM at Hull's Grove Baptist Church, with the Revs. Jeremy Mahaffey, Travis Elmore, and Bobby Farmer officiating.
