Harvey Frederick Measler, a cherished and beloved family man, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 18, 2026 at his home, leaving a legacy of love and warmth that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. Born on September 19, 1932, in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, Harvey was a person whose presence illuminated the lives of many. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Harvey embodied the spirit of service and dedication, values that he carried throughout his life. He was deeply admired and respected by everyone who had the privilege to call him a friend or family member. His character was defined by kindness, generosity, and an unwavering sense of commitment to his loved ones. Harvey shared 67 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Corine Reinert Measler. Together they nurtured a family that flourished under their care and guidance. He is survived by his five children, Pamela Geiger of Banner Elk, NC, Kim Usher and her husband, Dennis, of Fayetteville, NC, Timothy Measler, and his wife, Lori, of Emmaus, PA, Tamara Measler of East Greenwich, RI, and Jamie Measler, of Shelby, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Measler, Sr.; his mother, Iva Eidle Measler; his brother, Charles Measler, Jr.; his sister, Edna Bartholomew; and his son-in-law, David Geiger. Each of them left their mark on Harvey's life, and he carried their memories with him always. He will then be laid to rest at Cleveland Memorial Park after the funeral service.
