Mr. Hillery Anderson Rippy, 73, of Shelby, NC, passed away on October 6, 2025 at his residence. He was born on November 27, 1951 in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Hillery Anderson Rippy, Sr. and Ethel Ramseur Rippy.

He is preceded in death by his parents Hillery Anderson Rippy, Sr. and Ethel Ramseur Rippy.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Rasheed Rippy and Ahmad Rippy; three grandchildren, Ahmad Rippy Jr., Amarie Rippy and Amalacai Rippy; former wife, Deborah Rippy; and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service was held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at Ryburn Memorial Presbyterian Church, Shelby, NC.
