This is the time of year, that Vacation Bible Schools are held throughout Cleveland County. First Baptist Church of Shelby, held their VBS this week, July 14-July 18. They have hosted over 125 youngsters. This year's theme was SonWest Roundup. The first day brought out these proud youngsters wearing cowboy and cowgirl hats and their VBS red shirts. One young cowpoke even sported a nice mustache. Their spirit and enthusiasm was infectious.
