Jacob Hugh Willis, Sr., 81, of 361 Hwy. 18 N in Lawndale, died March 16, 2013 at Carolina Care Center in Cherryville.
 
Born September 19, 1931 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Ed Willis and Maebelle Costner Willis. He was a retired male attendent supervisor for Broughton Hospital and was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lona Pruett Willis, son, David Ray Willis, brother, Franklin Willis, and sister, Jewel Willis.
 
Survivors include his second wife, Pauline Leonhardt Willis, son & daughter-in-law, Jacob Hugh Willis, Jr. & Debra of Granite Falls, brother, Charles Willis of Shelby, two sisters, Inez Hailey of Kannapolis and Jeanette Willis of Belmont, and one grandson, Christopher Hugh Willis.
 
Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Stamey Funeral Home.
 
Funeral Service will be Monday at 2:00PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Allan Barlow officiating. The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.
 
Burial will follow in Zion Hill Baptist Chuirch Cemetery.
