It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our mother, Jacqualine "Jackie" Borders McDaniel. She passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, at the age of 80, surrounded by the love of her family.

Jackie was born on July 18, 1945, in Cheddington, England, and remained very proud of her English heritage throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Bobbie Joe McDaniel; her parents, Jim and Peggy Borders; her brother, David Borders; and her son-in-law, Robert Brackett.

She is survived by her children, Tammy Brackett, Barbara (Andy) McNeilly, and Chris (Jamie) McDaniel. She was a devoted Nannie to her grandchildren, Fuller (Amy) Brackett, Brandon Brackett, Paul (Sumer) McNeilly, Noah McNeilly, Jonah (Maggie) McNeilly, James (Keashli) McDaniel, Gabrielle McDaniel, Hunter McDaniel and Abbi McDaniel and great-grandchildren, Kai and Lyra McDaniel, Casen Emory and Riley McNeilly. She also leaves behind her siblings, Steve (Vicky) Borders and Carol Holt; brother-in-law, Steve McDaniel and sisters-in-laws, Helen (Arnold) Lail and Dorothy McDaniel as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her strength, kindness, and sense of humor.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 15, 2026, at Zoar Baptist Church with the Rev. Austin Cline officiating.

Burial will follow at church cemetery.
