James Bud Thomas
Date of Birth: 10-10-1936 A native of Union Co., Ga., he was employed by Pipeliners Local Union 798 as a welder. He was a member of Christ the King Episcopal Church and served in the U. S. Marines. He was the son of the late Marion Thomas & Lydia Thomas and was also preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Faye Thomas of the home; two daughters, Lisa Borders of Shelby and Sharon Avery of the home; 2 sisters, Mary Dean of Moltree, Ga. & Ruth Hawkins of Clover, SC; one brother, Arvil Thomas of Clover, SC; two granddaughters, Tonya Cearley & Crystal Garmon and four great grandchildren, Riley Ledbetter, Cheyenne, Savannah & Ty Garmon. Visitation: The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Christ the King Episcopal Church and other times at the home. Funeral: 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the church Officiated by: Rev.
