Jana Lynn Watts Havens, 63, of Lawndale, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at her home.

She was born on April 07, 1962, in Gaston County, and was the daughter of the late Harold Pinkney Watts and Janice Richards Watts. Jana was retired from education having taught for Cleveland County Schools, Cleveland Community College, and Western Piedmont Community College. She enjoyed traveling to the beach, listening to music and reading. She loved spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.

She was a survived by her husband Sam Havens; son, Daniel Pruett of Casar; daughter, Maggie Tate and fiancé Jason Huntsinger of Shelby; stepdaughter, Jacqueline Havens of Johnson City, TN; brother, John Watts and wife Jill; nephew, Justin Watts and wife Jill; niece, Morgan Watts and Josh Barrett; and great nieces and nephews, Carson, Trey, Dezi, Caleb, Colt, Seth and Isaiah.

A private time of remembrance will be held at her home.
