Janice Richards Watts, 91, of Lawndale passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Atrium Health - Cleveland.

Janice was born on August 30, 1934 in Gaston County, NC to the late Cecil Blane Richards and Merlyn Irene Black Richards. She was retired after 40 years of service from BB&T. Janice was a longtime member of Norman's Grove Baptist Church where she held multiple positions throughout the church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Pinkney Watts; step-father, D.H. Cline, Jr. and a step-brother, Richard Cline.

Janice is survived by her son, John Watts and wife, Jill of Lawndale; daughter, Jana Havens and husband, Sam of Lawndale; four grandchildren, Justin Watts and wife, Brandy, Morgan Watts, Daniel Pruett and Maggie Tate; seven great-grandchildren, Caleb Hunter Watts, Dezi Watts, Colt Watts, Carson Neill, Trey Neill, Isaiah Watts and Seth Watts; great-great grandson, Leo Watts and two step-brothers, Fred Cline and David H. Cline, III.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Huss and Rev. Chris Decker officiating.

Burial will follow at Norman's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
