Jerry D. Ruppe, age 53, resident of 106 Gene Court, Kings Mountain, NC died August 23, 2011 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby, NC.  He was born in Cherokee Co, SC to the late George Thomas Ruppe.  He was a textile executive for Ruppe Hosiery for 38 years.    A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son who grew up attending Macedonia Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC.  He  loved to cook and spend time with his family and friends.

SURVIVORS: wife of 15 years:  LouAnne Blalock Ruppe, Kings Mtn. NC

Son: Matthew Parker and wife Jennifer, Kings Mtn. NC

Daughter: Stephanie Ruppe Ormand and husband Bobby, Mooresville, NC

Mother: Gaynelle Ramsey Ruppe, Kings Mtn. NC

Brother: Tony Ruppe and wife Teresa, Kings Mtn. NC

2 Grandchildren: Kendall Grace Parker and Blake Thomas Ormand.
