Jerry Lee White, 75, passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, July 25th, 2024.

He was born in Cleveland County, NC to the late Howard Junior White and Sue Butler White.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Glenda White, grandparents, John and Minnie White and John and Laura Butler and grandson Avett White.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son John White, and wife Kelsey of Gastonia; grandchildren, Eliana Kai and Anders John White; sisters, Rita Rogers (husband Pat), and Janell Abercrombie (husband Harley); nieces, Aimee Thomas(husband Jay) and Jamie Abercrombie; step-son David Bowman great nephews, Blanton and Anderson Thomas; and loving friends, Steve and Carolyn Moore.
Jerry was a devoted husband, father, Pawpaw to his grandkids, and dear friend.

He served in the US Army during 1969-1971. Jerry retired from SE Huffman in Clover, SC as electrical engineer and programmer.

He enjoyed fishing, annual trips to Fairfield in Lake Lure with dear friends, gardening and spoiling his grandchildren.

To honor the life of Mr. Jerry White, a memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Sunday July 28, 2024 in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home with Pastor Danny McNeilly officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
