Jerry "Trey" Thomas Lail, III, 39, of Bailey Baxter Road, Cherryville passed away on March 18, 2026 at Atrium Health - Cleveland in Shelby, NC.

Trey was born on April 14, 1986 in Lincoln County, NC to Christopher "Chris" Randall and Robin Fredell Randall. He was a member of New Beginnings Church.

In addition to his parents, Trey is survived by three daughters, Gracie Abernathy, Jayda Sigmon and Madi Sigmon all of Lincolnton; siblings, Allen Fredell and wife, Leigh of Vale, Holly Carpenter and husband, Dustin of Lincolnton Matt Lail and wife, Danielle of Lincolnton and Ronnie Costner of Lincolnton and Dorothy Gilbert of Hickory.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm at Community Grove Church.

A funeral service will be on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at 4:00pm at Community Grove Church with Rev. Scott Lester and Chuck Ramsey officiating.

Burial will be private.
