Gaffney - Jessie Mae Bolin Faris, 95, passed away on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2026 at Peachtree Centre.

Born in Cherokee County, she was the widow of Darby Faris and the daughter of Ben and Mattie Bolin.

Mrs. Faris is survived by her son, Darby Faris (Tammie) of York; her grandchildren, Ben Faris, Tommy Dover, Timothy Foster, Michael Foster, and Charlie Faris, and numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Kathy Estes and Evelyn Foster, and her sons, Charles Faris and Darvin Faris.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 8th, 2026 from 6:00-7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 at 2:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Gregg Martin officiating. Interment will be in Canaan United Methodist Cemetery.
