Born March 12, 1938 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Gettys Ray
Walker and Callie Florence Carpenter Walker. He was employed by Ashbrook
Village.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby
Walker.
Survivors include his son, Richard Walker and wife, Sybil of Cherryville;
brother, Jerry Walker of Bostic; three sisters, Margaret Towery of
Cherryville, Merle Tucker of Lincolnton, and Pauline Biggerstaff of Bostic;
five grandchildren, Angel Walker, Amber Walker, Heather Walker, Hannah
Walker and Sandy Walker and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Wednesday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Funeral Service: 3:00 PM, Wednesday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston
Burial: Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston
