Joe Dean "Jody" Doster, 64, of 7020 Hwy 97, passed away on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023.

Born in York, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Jessie and Fannie Martin Doster. Jody was a member of Broad River Baptist Church of Smyrna.

Surviving Mr. Doster are his brother, Teddy Doster, and his sister, Diane Jenkins, both of Blacksburg; two nieces, one nephew, five great-nieces and nephews, and three great-great-nieces and nephews.

Mr. Doster was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 4th, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC . Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Broad River Baptist Church of Smyrna, 2315 Legion Road. Smyrna, SC.

The family will be at the residence of his sister, Diane Jenkins, at 1876 Piedmont Road, Blacksburg, SC..
