Johnny Walker
Waco - Mr. Johnny Walker, 76, of 405 S. Main Street, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at his residence.
Johnny was born in Cleveland County, NC on August 26, 1938 son of the late Forrest Walker and Mary Lou Shipton Walker. He was a member of Waco Baptist Church. Johnny was retired as owner and operator of Walker's Roofing.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Walker.
Survivors include two daughters, Sissy Craft (Scott); and Sandra Bolick; a son, James Deveney all of Waco; four grandchildren, Dylan Craft (Laura), Brittany Anthony (Blair), Macie Hipps (Chris) and Nikki Bolick; two great grandchildren, Levi Hipps and Bryson Anthony; and his best friend Dianne Heavner.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 2:00PM at Ledford Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jackie Price officiating. The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.
Burial will be at Capernaum Cemetery in Waco.
