Joseph Henry Fitzgerald, 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Atrium Health Cleveland Hospital. Born in Moorestown, New Jersey, on February 2, 1940, he was the beloved son of the late Edward J. Fitzgerald, Sr. and Carrie Taylor Fitzgerald.

Joseph will be remembered as a devoted husband, a wonderful father, and a true family man. He loved the simple joys of life, cheering on his Philadelphia Eagles, enjoying a good Miller High Life, and spending time with those he cherished most. His warmth, humor, and steady presence will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his sisters, Claire Baker and Patie Wylie, his brother Jim Fitzgerald, and his two daughters, Karen Gonzales and Gwen Gallie, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Memorial donations may be made in Joseph's honor to VIA Health Partners in Shelby.

Services will be held privately at this time.
