JUDITH "JUDY" Blalock, 76 of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on December 31, 2017 at her home. Born in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Dean Hope and Mary Helen Spake Hope. Judy was an active member of Advent Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, reading, and sewing. She was an avid Carolina fan, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was retired from the banking industry.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 57 years, Jerry Reginald Blalock, Sr., Kings, Mtn; Children: Reggie Blalock and wife Dena, Kings Mtn; Mike Blalock, Kings Mtn; Lori Blalock Lail, Kings Mtn; Jonathan Blalock and wife Amy, Kings Mtn;Sisters: VIckie Jonas and husband Craig, Shelby, NC;Jackie Bennett, Grover, NC;Brother: Tommy Hope and wife Sara Nell, Cary, NC; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren
