Gaffney - Judy Gail Mullinax Owens, 59, of 391 Goucher Green Bethel Road, passed away Friday, June 6th, 2026 at Mary Black Hospital.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Ronald Owens and the daughter of the late Eddie and Margaret Upchurch Mullinax. She was a member of Harvest Time Assembly of Kings Mountain and formerly worked at Adidas. She loved to sing karaoke with family and friends and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by her sons, John Dover and Lil Ronnie Orr (Heather); her daughters, Beth Rojas (Miguel) and Jaime Cole; her son-in-love, Michael Sargent; her sisters, Gloria Henderson (Stephen) and Sharon Bryant (Grover); her brothers, Scottie Mullinax (Connie), Eddie Mullinax (Tonya), Jessie Mullinax (Rhonda), and Charles Mullinax; her mother-in-law/caretaker, Cassondra Owens; her bonus sister, Debbie Ragstole; her special friend, Cody Ussery; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and her fur-baby, Bella Rea.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Mullinax, brother-in-law, Buford Henderson, sister-in-law, Lisa Mullinax, and her niece, Hannah Mullinax.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 8, 2026 from 2:00-3:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Sam Parsons officiating. Jacob Rojas, Austin Orr, Francisas Rojas, Dean Upchurch, Wayne Upchurch, Edward "Opie" Patterson, Matt Mullinax, and Marvin Jr. Mullinax will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Asselin and Michael Sargent. Interment will be in Mt. Ararat Baptist Church Cemetery.
