Judy Loraine Collins Bridges, 81, of Gastonia, NC, passed away on March 02, 2026 at Courtland Terrace in Gastonia, NC.

She was born October 22, 1944 in Gaston County, NC, daughter of the late Fred and Irene Wilson Collins and was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Eugene Bridges. She was also preceded in death by her brother, and his wife, Jim and Elizabeth Wilson, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Manual and Carolyn Ross, and brothers-in-law, Larry Deaton and Bobbie Raines. Judy was a 1964 graduate of Kings Mountain High School and an award winning employee of Freightliner Parts Plant, Gastonia, NC for many years until her retirement. She was a former member of El Bethel UMC and previously attended Firestone Wesleyan Church. Judy enjoyed staying active and could often be found putting together scrapbooks or creating beautiful crafts. She was an avid shopper and would often take off work on Fridays for shopping trips with her sister, Linda and friends. Judy loved her little dog, Molly, and enjoyed spoiling her everyday. Judy loved buying thoughtful, personal gifts for others. She enjoyed visiting the mountains to relax and shop and spent many hours watching her soap operas with her ever present Diet Rite close by. Judy was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Reverend Chris Wilson and Reverend Robin Sands officiating

VISITATION: Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home
