Julia Regina Dover, age 63, of Gastonia, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2026. She was born on June 4, 1963, and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and coworker whose presence touched many lives.

Julia was a devoted wife to her husband, Ronald "Ronnie" Dover. She treasured her family deeply and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling her grandbabies. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she gave them will continue to live on through the generations. Julia worked at East Gaston High School as a cafeteria worker for more than 25 years. She absolutely adored her coworkers, who became much more than coworkers--they became family. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine care for those around her made her a cherished part of the East Gaston High School community.

In her free time, Julia enjoyed spending time with family and friends. One of her favorite outings was going to the fish camp with her dear friend, Rosa Bost. She found joy in the simple moments spent laughing, sharing meals, and making memories with the people she loved.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald "Ronnie" Dover; her son, Jonathan Orren; her grandchildren, Kristopher Orren, Kynslei Orren, and Kayden Orren; her great-granddaughter, Oakley Orren; her sister, Nicky Barnes; her brother, Scott Frady; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and coworkers who will remember her with love. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Anna Orren; her brothers, Tommy "Shorty" Inman and Virgil Bronda Inman; and her parents, William Henry Inman and Joyce Mary Marie Williams Inman.

Julia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her loving spirit, devotion to her family, and the many memories she created with those around her will remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and coworkers forever.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at Lakeshore Community Fellowship, 2200 Brookneal Drive, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054 with Pastor Robert Rosales officiating.
