 Mr. Junior “J.C.” Cleveland Buff, 88, of Casar, NC, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010. Services were held at Pisgah Baptist Church, Casar. Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Mr. Buff served our country in the U.S. Army Infantry during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Buff and Bedie Liza Buff; 1 brother, Quinton Buff; and 1 sister, Annie B. Willis.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Eunice Page Buff; 1 son, Robert “Bill” William Buff and wife Joy of Mt. Holly; 1 daughter, Andrea B. Norman and husband Jerald of Casar; 2 brothers, James Buff of Morganton and Ray Buff of Valdese; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
