 Kathryn Vinklarek, 60, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Hospice Cleveland County.  A native of San Antonio, Tx, she was the daughter of the late Emil Alvin and Helen Marie Jeffries Vinklarek.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter Joanna Christine Frandsen.  Kathyrn attended Ascension Lutheran Church.  She was an aspiring artist who loved animals and children.  She was a committed vegetarian most of her life.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Mark Frandsen of Shelby; her sister, Christine Higgins and husband Jim and her niece Katie Higgins all of Shelby.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Ascension Lutheran Church.  The Rev. Jeff Erbskorn will be officiating.
