Kathy Louise Oliver Frye, 73, of Dallas, NC, passed away on April 2, 2025 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

Born March 29, 1952 in Cleveland County, NC, she was the daughter of Louise Blackwell Oliver and the late Charles Junior Oliver and was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Gary Wayne Frye, and her brother, Rodger Oliver. Kathy was all about family, close to her siblings and spending as much time as she possibly could with her grandsons and her mother. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, whose grandsons referred to her affectionately as "Maw." Kathy's love and light will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Sunday, April 6, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Reverend Tim Setzer officiating.

VISITATION: Sunday, April 6, 2025 prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:50 P.M. in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home.
