Mrs. Kay Hoyle Cabaniss Hamrick, 67, of Shelby, NC, passed away Thursday, November 4,  2010. Services were held at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. Burial followed in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Mrs. Hamrick was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hugh Hamrick; and her parents, James E. Cabaniss and Grace Hermine Hoyle Cabaniss.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Angela Hamrick Smith and husband Darren of Shelby, and Gina Hamrick of Ellenboro, NC; 2 sons, Kevin Hugh Hamrick and Luke Hamrick, both of Shelby; 2 grandchildren; and special caregiver, Mrs. Tina Lail.
