Kenneth Andrew Booth, 85, of Delview Road, Cherryville passed away on March 18, 2026 at his residence.



Born January 21, 1941 in Cleveland County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Arthur C. Booth and Madeline Proctor Booth. Kenneth was retired after 30 years of service from the NC Department of Corrections. He served 6 years in National Guard.



Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Frances Grant Booth; sons, Bobby Booth and wife, Olga of Cherryville and Mark Booth and wife, Kathy of Cherryville and two grandchildren, Bryant Booth and Justin Booth and two great-grandchildren, Liam and Landon Booth.



The family will receive friends on Monday, March 23, 2026 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.



A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 3:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Brittain officiating.



Burial will follow at St. Paul Church Cemetery, Shelby.
