Kenneth Eugene McMurry, 81, of Lawndale, passed away Sunday, December 15,
2019 at his home.

Born in Cleveland County on March 3, 1938, he was a son of the late Ernest
Eugene McMurry and Laura Grigg McMurry. He was retired from Lutz Yelton Oil
and was a member of Polkville Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Judith
Parris McMurry; three brothers, Sam McMurry, Ralph McMurry, and Paul
McMurry; and four sisters, Ruth Moore, Mildred Foust, Mary Thornburg and
Marie Lovelace.

He is survived by his second wife, Helen Allen Silver; two children, Karen
White and husband Larry of Lawndale and Jason McMurry and wife Alice of Mt.
Joy, Pennsylvania; two stepchildren, Jerry Silver and wife Donna of
Polkville and Jane Silver of Garden City, South Carolina; seven
grandchildren, Emily Parker, Kelly Bivins Weeks, Andrew McMurry, Leah
McMurry, Danielle Garcia, Stephanie Hogston, and Calley Potterbaum and seven
great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at
Polkville Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday at Polkville
Baptist Church with the Revs. Will Davis and Rick Hamrick officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
