Kenneth Matthew Butler, 43, of Shelby, NC, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Hospice House of Forest City, NC. He was the son of the late Kenneth Anthony Butler and Sherry Briggs Moore.

Born in Gaffney, he was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church, enjoyed movies especially James Bond, loved Duke Basketball, The Florida Gators, Tim Tebow and loved his family.

Left to cherish his memory is a son Landon Butler of Shelby, NC, a brother Josh Butler of Blacksburg, SC, a sister Savannah B. King (Zach) of Smyrna, SC, nieces Ellie and Emma King, his Grandmother Polly Moore of Blacksburg, SC and his childhood friend Kenneth Johnson of Shelby, NC

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 30, 2026, at 3:00pm at the funeral home with Dr. Rev. Bruce Price officiating. Burial will follow at the Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery, 618 Old Buffalo Church Rd., Blacksburg, SC 29702
