Smyrna -- Kenneth Steve Ramsey Sr, 80, of 356 Walker Road, passed away on Friday, August 28th, 2026, at the Cherokee Medical Center.

Born in Rock Hill, he was the husband of Shannon Williford Ramsey and the son of the late Elzie Osco Ramsey and Maybelle Hardin Ramsey. Kenneth retired from construction and was of Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Ramsey is survived by his children: Kenneth Steve Ramsey Jr., Lisa Ramsey, Kimberly Ramsey, MIchael White, and Keith Ramsey (Amanda); six grandchildren: Kenneth Steve Ramsey III, Trey Smith, Kayla Smith, Zachary Burgess, Kain Ramsey, and Eli Ramsey; number great-grandchildren; a brother, Billy Ramsey; and a sister, Trish Ramsey.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vera Ramsey, and a son, Michael Hutto.

No services are scheduled at this time.
