Kevin Andrew Williams, 60, of Lawndale passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte after a courageous 3-year battle of Pleomorphic Liposarcoma.

Kevin was born on June 2, 1965 in Burke County, NC to Donald Franklin Williams and Hazel Lee Huffman Williams of Valdese. He was an Administrator of Finance for 32 years at Atrium Health. Kevin was a member of St. John's Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday school teacher, choir director for 38 years and deacon of 31 years. He loved his family and was a caretaker to not only them, but many other people.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Bumgarner.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 37 years, Deborah Spurling Williams; son, Adam Williams and wife Summer, of Lawndale; three daughters, Angel Sigman and husband, Allen of Lawndale, Alesha Taylor and husband, Stephen of Connelly Springs and Amber Williams of Lawndale and a brother, Jeffrey Williams of Connelly Springs. Paw Paw was expecting his first beloved grandson.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at St. John's Baptist Church in Connelly Springs with the Rev. Tony Dyson officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
