Kimberly Ann "Kim" Vest MacLeod, age 55, of Shelby, North Carolina, born on March 17, 1970, in Milford, Delaware, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, with her family by her side. A woman of unwavering faith and boundless love, Kim's gentle presence and generous spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Kim is survived by her devoted husband of forty-one years, Robert "Bob" Edward MacLeod. Her unconditional love extended to her dearly loved parents, Gene and Charlotte Startt; two brothers, Kevin Vest and his wife Lori, and Brian Vest with his wife Heather; her beloved grandfather, Ralph Tucker; her cherished aunt, Betty Lou Wilson; and her esteemed uncles, Leon Tucker and David Tucker. Sisters-in-law Miley Henderson and Wendy Causby, along with several adoring nieces and nephews, will also hold her memory in their hearts. Kim took on the role of a loving mother to her four canine companions, Khloe, Gracie, Mercie, and Kenzi, each of whom brought immense joy to her life.

Kim's life was marked by the loss of her dear sister, Cynthia McNatt; her treasured grandmother, Hazel Tucker, and her respected mother-in-law, Charleen Simons. Yet she continued to embody resilience and love throughout her life's journey.

In her professional life, Kim served as an office administrator, contributing her skills alongside her husband at Commercial Drywall and Acoustics. Her work was not just a job; it was part of the community she held dear. A fervent lover of nature, Kim found solace in sunflowers dancing with bumblebees, a scene that captured her appreciation for life's simple beauties. Her passion for her faith was evident in her dedication to studying the Bible, and she shared her compassion through active involvement with the Shelby Seventh Day Adventist and Humane World Action Fund.

Kim's legacy is one of love, generosity, and a faith-filled heart. She was the embodiment of kindness and a beacon of light to everyone blessed to be part of her life. Her memory will continue to inspire those she has left behind, as her spirit lives on through the many lives she touched.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 6:00 pm at the Shelby Seventh Day Adventist with the Rev. Oscar Montez officiating.
