Kiwanis Club Recognizes Gene Branton For 53 Years of Perfect Attendance
“This is a very special award and shows tremendous dedication and support to Kiwanis Club of Shelby.” said Martha Bivins, 2012 Club President. Kiwanis Club of Shelby was chartered on September 28, 1922 and started the Cleveland County Fair in 1923. Kiwanis is committed to helping the children in our neighborhoods and communities, changing the world, one child and one community at a time. Kiwanis Club of Shelby also supports 20 children's programs throughout Cleveland County. The Club meets every 1st and 3rd Thursday at noon at the Cleveland Country Club, and is open to men and women 18 years and older who want to serve their community and have a great time.
