Mr. L C Jones, age 87 of Mooresboro, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Fair Haven of Forest City.
He is survived by his two sons; John Howard Jones and William Bruce Jones, both of Mooresboro, NC, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four sisters, and two brothers.
Born September 26, 1930 in Yancey County, NC, Mr. Jones was the son of the late Berlin and Mary Styles Jones and was preceded in death by his wife, Vanie Octavia Fox Jones, a sister, and a brother.
Mr. Jones enjoyed carp fishing, hunting, listening to the radio and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. LC was the kind of person that would always make you laugh and smile. He will be truly missed by those that knew him.
