 Mr. L. Roy Ramsey, 75, resident of 908 First Street, Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Services were held at Macedonia Community Holiness Church, York, SC. Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Mr. Ramsey was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Everette and Gracie Harlow Ramsey; 1 grandson, Michael Tesseneer; and 1 brother, Everette Leslie Ramsey.

He is survived by 2 sons, Mike Ramsey and wife Teresa of Earl, NC and Ricky Ramsey of Lenoir, NC; 1 daughter, Kimberley Earwood and husband Mitchell of Shelby, NC; 2 brothers, Eugene Ramsey and wife Dorothy of Gastonia, NC, and George Ramsey of Kings Mountain, NC; 1 sister, Macie Connor and husband Bobby of Kings Mountain, NC; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
