Larry Cline Lowman, age 55 of Lincolnton passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. He was born March 3, 1963 in Lincoln County to Larry Joe Lowman of Maiden, and the late Vickie Sellers Lowman. Larry was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who loved the Clemson Tigers, and spending as much time as possible at the beach. Larry also enjoyed a career as a manager at Mohican Mills. Larry is preceded in death by his mother Vickie Sellers Lowman. In addition to his father he is survived by his wife of eighteen years, Patricia Edwards Lowman; children, Jennifer Abernethy of Hickory, and Shannon Wingate of Lincolnton; five grandchildren Quintin Abernethy, Kenneth McDowell, Antwaun Abernethy, Ebony Abernethy, and A.J. Wingate; and siblings Jeff Lowman of Dallas, Tracy Simmons of Maiden, and numerous other relatives.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 3 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with Dr. Scott Shoffner officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday 1:30 to 2:45 pm and at other times at the home.
