Larry Eugene Turner, 60, of Security Street, Newton passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Carolina Caring in Newton.

Larry was born on March 15, 1966, in Cleveland County and was a son of the late Thomas "Tommy" Gene Turner and Hazeleen "Hazel" Etta Blanton Harmon. He was retired from Turners Supermarket, Casar. Larry was a member of Clover Hill United Methodist Church and a Casar Masonic Lodge #579. He loved spending time with his family and just being with people.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his faithful dog, Lucy and a brother Barry Turner.

He is survived by his beloved Bella; two aunts, Betty Huffman of Connelly Springs, and Nadine Turner of Kings Mountains and thirteen cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Clover Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. David B. Turner officiating.
