Larry Mitchell Queen, 81, of Statesville, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Iredell Hospital, Statesville.

Born on October 7, 1941, he was a son of the late George Ivey Queen and Amanda Cook Queen. He retired from Hoechst Celanese and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Statesville. He also served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Palm Tree Church, 1160 W. Stagecoach Trail, Lawndale, North Carolina 28090.

The family will greet friends following the service.
