Laura Watterson White, age 92, resident of 400 Fulton Drive, Kings Mountain, NC died April 23, 2012 at Wendover Hospice, Shelby, NC.  She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late William Lester and Frances Mercer Watterson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, the late James William White; brothers, Ersten “Buck” Watterson, William H. Watterson, and George Robert Watterson.  Mrs. White was a member of Boyce Memorial ARP Church and active at the Senior Center.  She was retired from York General Hospital, Rock Hill, SC and was also employed with Kings Mountain Hospital and White Oak Manor.  She was a wonderful, giving, and caring mother and grandmother who loved Braves Baseball.

Daughter: Debbie W. Terry and husband Rick, Kings Mtn .NC

8 Grandchildren: Travis Terry and wife Ashley, Kings Mtn. NC;

Jamie Terry and wife April, Kings Mtn. NC; Jeremy Terry, Shelby, NC;

Brett Terry, Kings Mtn. NC; Josh Terry and wife Charlotte, Shelby, NC;

Christian White, Houston, TX; Lynn Zapata, San Antonio, TX; Jennifer Henning, and husband Todd, Columbia, SC

10 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

VISITATION: 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, April 25, 2012 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina.

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
