Mrs. Lela Ruth Harrill Davis, 84, of Cleveland Pines Nursing Center, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010. Services were held at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home Chapel.  Graveside services were held at Sunset Cemetery.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, Milford Alford “M.A.” Harrill and Carrie Bell Harden Harrill; her brothers, George Douglas Harrill, Rufus Harrill, Herchel H. Harrill and Howard H. Harrill and sisters, Frances H. Adcock Daves and Margaret H. Anderson.

She is survived by her daughters, Martha “Mot” Davis, Jean Davis Martin and Linda Davis Spurling of Shelby; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home of Shelby, NC is serving the family.
