Leonard Gene White, 70 of 2244 New House Road, Shelby passed away, Sunday,
August 13, 2017 at Carolinas Healthcare System - Cleveland.

Born June 3, 1947 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Robert Lee
White and Frances Carter White. He retired from textiles and he also
enjoyed farming. Mr. White was a member of Polkville Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bessie Alice Tesseneer White; two
sons, Michael White and wife, Susan of Shelby and Roger White and Carla Rabb
of Huntersville; two grandchildren, Emily and Erin White; and two sisters,
Ruby Stone and Blanche Ruppe both of Polkville.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Tuesday, Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home.

A funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Byrd officiating.

Burial will follow in Polkville Baptist Church Cemetery.
