Linda Rose Stewart Chapman, 68, of Casar passed away on June 8, 2026 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

Linda was born on September 24, 1957 in Cleveland County to Margaret Whisnant Bolick of Vale and the late Jessie Stewart. She was retired from Cleveland Vocational and was a member of Omega Faith Ministries in Hickory.

In addition to father, she is preceded in death by her son; Kevin Chapman; stepfather, Jack Bolick and brother; Jimmy Stewart.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 31 years, Gary Reid Chapman; two sons; Michael Chapman and wife, Holly of Lawndale and Nathan Minton and wife, Tonya of Casar; brother, Tim Bolick of Catawba County; sister, Teresa Martin of Burke County; 9 grandchildren, Tara Chapman, Taylor Chapman, Cody Chapman, Samuel Chapman, Camille Hull and husband Darrell, Shayla Minton, Ava Minton, Melisha Blanton and Taylor Walker and two great- grandchildren, Caroline Hull and Asher Hull.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 2:00pm at St. Paul's Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Fulbright and Rev. Bobby Roark officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will greet friends following the service.
