Lisa Grigg Adair

Lisa Grigg Adair

Lisa Grigg Adair, a beacon of kindness and unwavering support, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025, in her hometown of Shelby, North Carolina. Born on December 26, 1966, to the late James and Blanche Grigg, Lisa's life was a testament to her loving nature and her commitment to her family and community.

Lisa's journey through life was marked by her devotion to her beloved husband of 18 years, Jamie Adair, and their cherished children: sons Brandon and Renn Adair (and his wife Melissa), and daughter Taylor Adair. Her role as a Nana to Trevor, Amerisa Jordan, and Braiden Adair was one she embraced with joy and pride. Lisa's love extended to her siblings, Joyce Mull (and her husband Randy) and James Grigg Jr. (and his wife Kathy), and her role as an aunt was treasured by her nephews Randy Mull Jr. (and his wife Hillary) and David Mull (and his wife Jennifer), as well as her great-nieces and nephews Bradley, Emma, Brody, Hadley, and Mabrey Mull.

A proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Lisa's intelligence and work ethic shone brightly throughout her career as a buyer for TRANE Technologies. Her professional accomplishments, however, were always balanced by her commitment to her faith as a member of the Double Shoals United Methodist Church.

Lisa's Christian beliefs were the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring her to serve others. Her three-decade-long volunteer work with the Kidney Association in Cleveland County was a reflection of her generous spirit and her desire to make a difference in the lives of those around her.

Those who knew Lisa were touched by her loving, kind, and gentle nature. She was a woman who loved her family unconditionally, and her presence was a source of comfort and strength. Her ability to listen with empathy and offer words of encouragement will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service to celebrate Lisa's life will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Double Shoals United Methodist Church. The service will be officiated by Rev. Melissa Peeler with the assistance of Jon Gaiser. Following the service, the family will welcome friends at the church to share memories and fellowship in honor of Lisa's enduring legacy.

Lisa Grigg Adair's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, faith, and service. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide those she has left behind, and her spirit will forever be a cherished presence in the hearts of her family, friends, and community.
