Lisa Spinks Gold, 49, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center.  She was the daughter of Randall Clay and Cheryl Wright Spinks.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charlie & Frances Wright and Glenn & Juanita Spinks.  Lisa loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed shopping and yard sales. 

Lisa is survived by her husband Sammy Gold of Shelby; son, Jordon Daves of Shelby; daughters, Jill Wheat of South Carolina, Courtney Daves and fiancé Michael Marlowe of Shelby, Cassie Gold of Shelby; brother, Danny Spinks of Florida; and five grandchildren.

A celebration of life graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, January 13, 2014 at Fellowship Independent Baptist Church Cemetery on Christopher Road in Shelby.  Dr. Rob Helton will be officiating. 

The family requests memorials are sent to Cecil M Burton Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.
