Lois Walters Hayes, 90, of Kings Mountain, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 29, 2026.

Born July 21, 1936, in Lumberton, North Carolina to the late Rad and Flossie Walters. Lois lived a vibrant life centered on faith, music, dancing, and deep love for her family.

A talented Cosmetologist for over 40 years. She owned a Salon in Charlotte in her younger years and loved her trade - and the people she served dearly.

Preceded in death by 6 siblings. She is survived by her 5 children, Linda (Tom) Andrews in Charlotte, Robert (Patti) Hayes in California, Michael (Anita) Hayes in Stanley, Lydia (Butch) Drake in Kings Mountain, Timothy (Wendy) Hayes in Monroe along with 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
