Lonnie "Dickie" Burgess, age 75 resident of Kings Mountain, NC passed away on December 25, 2016 at Testa Family Hospice House. He was born in Orange Co. NC to the late Lonnie Hubert Burgess and Thelma Rhett Wills Burgess. He was also preceded in death by his son, Lonnie Hubert Burgess, III; sister, Lib Green; and brother, Steve Hicks. He was retired from the trucking industry and served in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion, Kings Mtn. NC.
