Lorraine Evangeline Saville Lovelace Parris, age 72 died Friday October 3, 2014 at her home. Born in Greenville SC on February 24, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Veda Sanders Saville. Lorraine graduated from ICC with an associate in Child Care. She owned her own daycare for a number of years. Lorraine retired from Kemet after many years of service. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed bird watching, crafts and was an avid reader. In addition to her parents, Lorraine is preceded in death by her first husband, Jennings Lovelace and a sister, Darlene Saville Diflippo.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 20 years Frank Parris; her loyal canine companion, “Shadowboy”;  a son, Ricky Lovelace of AZ; four daughters, Gina Garrett and husband Mark of Greenville, Linda Lowery and fiancée Steven “Goobe” Smith, April Bridges and husband Dale of Shelby, and Deborah Goad and husband Jamey of Grover; 17 grandchildren, Kiersten Creswell, Melanie Gibson, Alicia Bridges, Kindale Bridges, Kricket Bridges, Zachary Bridges, Chrissy Goad, Baylee Beam, Trae Goad, Carson Beam, Wyatt Goad, Emmalou Goad, Heather Lovelace, Matthew Lovelace, Josiah Lovelace, Hope Lovelace, and Savannah Lovelace; six great grandchildren, Landen Roach, Kelsey and Grantt Bridges Ty Gibson, Bryson Brewer and  Henry Brewer; and nephew and niece,  David Saville  of Lawndale and Ailene Diflippo of New York.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Tony Tench officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Baptist Church. The family will receive friends an hour before the service, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, and other times at the home of her daughter, April and Dale Bridges, 1614 N Oak Drive.
